Dr. Chi-Huey Wong, the Director of the Genomics Research Center, has been appointed as the 9th President of Academia Sinica, succeeding Dr. Yuan T. Lee.

Dr. Chung-Hsuan Chen has been appointed as the acting Director of the Genomics Research Center.

Dr. Wong will continue his research as the division head of the Chemical Biology Division at the Genomics Research Center.
