研究動機：

棕色與米色脂肪細胞可透過葡萄糖與脂質的利用，以及分泌特定內分泌因子，來調節全身代謝與能量恆定。其活性與糖尿病及心血管疾病的發生率呈顯著負相關。然而，人體內的棕色與米色脂肪細胞數量稀少。本實驗室致力於研究並發展增加與活化人體棕色及米色脂肪細胞的策略，並期望透過代謝調控治療代謝性疾病與癌症。

研究方向：

  • 利用高通量小分子藥物庫與 CRISPR/Cas 基因篩選平台，鑑定可促進幹細胞進行棕色/米色脂肪化的基因與藥物。
  • 結合靶向奈米粒子遞送系統，應用於細胞、基因或藥物療法以活化棕色與米色脂肪細胞。
  • 探討棕色與米色脂肪細胞透過代謝與免疫調控抑制癌症及脂肪肝疾病的機制。
