RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Proteomics

image004The combined technologies of separation science and mass spectrometry are the current workhorse in proteomics. A large scale and unbiased non-gel based quantitative proteomics platform which incorporates multi-dimensional chromatography, isotope labeling techniques and mass spectrometry to elucidate protein identification and differential protein expression for the discovery of diagnostic and/or prognostic markers of disease and cancer studies. Our interests are mainly focusing on developing technologies platform to characterize low abundance proteins and elucidate proteins post-translational modifications and provide quantitative protein information at the same time.
