Congratulations to Dr. Yun-Ru Ruby Chen for receiving the “2014 Taiwan Women in Science Rookie Award”. The award presented by the Wu Chien Shiung Education Foundation is a prestigious award distributed at the 7th year in order to recognize outstanding female scientists in Taiwan.
Dr. Yun-Ru Ruby Chen is currently an assistant research fellow in Genomics Research Center, her primary interest has been in studying the mechanisms of incorrect protein folding which trigger various neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease.
