RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Our research group is interested in developing mass spectrometry-based methods to understand the cellular functions at the protein levels. The gas-phase mass spectrometric pattern is being investigated for noncovalent biomolecular interacting complexes to characterize biomolecular structures. In attempt to identify disease-associated biomarker and to decipher the disease mechanism, comparative proteomic approaches are being developed and applied to analyze the disease-related protein profiles qualitatively and quantitatively. Affinity based mass spectrometry methods are being developed for enrichment and further implementation on the targeted functional proteomic study.

本實驗室團隊的研究興趣,主要是發展及利用各種質譜學方法,進行蛋白質體學的研究。目前,我們朝三個主要研究方向進行深入的探討:利用電噴灑質譜法,結合 化學交錯鍵結策略,研究蛋白質複合體的非共價鍵性交互作用,並藉此了解蛋白質複合體的可能聚合的方式與結構。藉由比較蛋白質體學的技術,深入探討疾病的可 能成因,進而開發可用於臨床檢測的生物標記分子。同時,我們亦投注心力於改良及開發新式的比較蛋白質體學技術。發展專一性吸附生物分子的質譜技術,從複雜 的混合物分離出我們感興趣的生物分子,並將此一技術應用於其他蛋白質體學研究。
