RESEARCH INTERESTS:

• Hepatitis Epidemiology: Delineating incidence and determinants of milestones transitions and disease progression during natural history of chronic hepatitis B and C using longitudinal follow-up study
• Molecular and Genomic Epidemiology: Investigating immunological and genetic factors of host and viral factors on health outcomes using molecular and genomic techniques including multiplexing assay, genome-wide association study (GWAS) and next generation sequencing
• Translational Epidemiology: Development and validation of risk assessment instruments which integrated multiple clinical parameters for the prediction/diagnosis of adverse sequelae of chronic hepatitis B and C
