Congratulations to Ms. Tai-Na Wu for receiving the “JJSI Asia Outstanding Graduate Thesis Award in Bio-tech”

The paper is “Avidity of CD1d-ligand-receptor ternary complex contributes to T-helper 1 (Th1) polarization and anticancer efficacy” and co-led by President Chi-Huey Wong and Dr. Alice Lin-Tsing Yu and now can be read online: http://www.pnas.org/content/108/42/17275.full.

“JJSI Asia Outstanding Graduate Thesis Award in Bio-tech” is an annual award sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Corporate Office of Science and Technology (COSAT, www.jnjcosat.com/cosat ). The award aims to promote and recognize the best graduate students in Asia who have made significant contributions in the field of bio-tech related to life sciences.

This year the award ceremony will be held on May 9, 2012 (8:30am-5:00pm) at Shanghai Johnson & Johnson Cheng Kai Building (4th floor, 355 Hong Qiao Road, Shanghai) as a one-day symposium organized by Johnson & Johnson COSAT with keynote speeches from both academia and industry.
