Microarray technology has provided researchers with high throughput analysis of gene expressions. It also provides other applications such as SNP mapping, genotyping, and differential gene expression. OmniGrid microarraying system produces DNA, protein, carbohydrate and small molecule microarrays on slides. This instrument also accommodate solid- or split-pin printing to create high- or low-density arrays and can dip into 96- or 384-well plate. It prints onto solid surfaces (e.g. glass slide, silicon substrate) with up to 200 consistent spots produced from a single dip. GRC will use this instrument to prepare home-made arrays for various studies.
