RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Based on our past techniques of cell mass spectrometry and single particle mass spectrometry of viruses and cells, we are developing novel ion soft landing techniques using linear ion trap to mass-select high mass biomolecules and nanoparticles. The soft landed ions will be targeted on the surface of interest and explored their surface reactivity. Ongoing projects include the development of nanoparticle mass spectrometry using linear ion trap, the study of gold nanoparticles uptake into mammalian cells using cell mass spectrometry, and identification of microorganisms using mass spectrometry.

我們曾經發展細胞質譜儀和單病毒及細胞質譜儀器，結合這些技術，我將發展離子軟著陸技術，利用線性質譜儀選擇生物大分子及奈米粒子，並軟著陸於表面上，及探討生物體的活性。目前執行中的計畫有(一)軟著陸線性質譜儀的開發，(二)以質譜技術探討細胞吞噬奈米金粒子的過程，(三)微生物的質譜鑑定。
